    She grew up in Monterrey, Mexico and is a licensed architect in Arizona, Texas, and Colorado. With over 17 years of practicing in the USA, her design experience ranges across scales and product type from urban infill development, site feasibility, and master planning to historic additions, luxury single-family residential and high-rise design along with unique interior remodels. With a passion for the design+build process, she specializes in bespoke design solutions and the ability to resourcefully solve challenging conditions.

    Over the years she has worked on several of Austin’s residential high-rise buildings such as Seaholm tower and the Hyatt Centric to name a few. Her presence and leadership in the local architecture community is well known after working closely within AIA Austin and chairing several committees in the last decade. Other leadership roles include a short term in the City of Austin Board of Adjustment, overseas diplomatic travel with the US-Spain Council Young Leaders Program, and sitting on the Steering Committee and Founding Board for NOMA of Central Texas.

    Denisse is also Partner and Owner in Interni Austin and current President of the Austin Foundation for Architecture.

    As Chief Financial Officer and Senior Accountant with over 18 years In the Accounting, Operations and Human Resources fields, Monica brings strong attention to detail; specializing in process and NOI improvement. Monica has successfully managed financials for companies ranging from 2M – 15M in annual revenue. She has assisted and managed numerous company start-ups and is proud to be part of System D Architecture’s present and future.

    Originally from Uvalde, Texas she has lived in Austin since 2014. In her free time, you can find Monica spending time with her son and family. As an avid pianist, Monica has used her talents to serve in the ministry of praise and worship music. She attends her local community church and believes in paying it forward by helping those in need. She enjoys the outdoors, hiking, and adrenaline-rush excursions.
